Migraines. Many experts believe that during a migraine, blood vessels on the surface of the brain expand, causing the area round them to become inflamed and irritated. This dilation and irritation may account for the pain experienced during a migraine. Some symptoms are nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, stuffy or runny nose, and watery eyes. Sufferers may also experience moderate to severe head pain as well as dizziness, mood changes or tunnel vision. Possible treatment: Periferal Nerve Block.
